The trade stands for the highest standards in training and quality, in tradition and innovation. The Chamber of Crafts for Upper Franconia is the focal point for all trade-related issues. It represents the interests of its member companies, maintains the register of skilled trades, regulates training in the individual skilled trades, advises companies and organizes an extensive range of further training courses for skilled tradespeople. Proximity to the craftsman plays the biggest role here.
To strengthen our consulting team, we are looking for a
Business Management Consultant (f/m/d) for the Kronach, Kulmbach and Lichtenfels region from January 1, 2026 with a place of work in Kronach and a weekly working time of 30 hours
as a contact person for our member companies and start-ups in all business management matters.
Requirements
Your tasks:
Your tasks will include providing individual and solution-oriented advice to member companies, taking into account the diverse change processes in the economy, supporting company handovers, strengthening the entrepreneurial know-how of craft businesses by providing expert knowledge, designing and holding information events, participating in working groups, supporting public relations work through specialist contributions and participating in networking events in the region.
We expect:
A university or college degree at diploma or master's level in business administration or economics.
You have sound professional experience in business management consulting and support for small and medium-sized companies, ideally with several years of experience in tax consulting professions, finance and accounting, marketing or controlling.
You have a high affinity for the skilled trades and a strong sense of service. As a convincing personality with a confident appearance, you know how to build a basis of trust and communicate complex issues in a practical and target group-oriented manner.
Your curiosity and understanding of financial and economic contexts motivate you to familiarize yourself with new topics such as digitization or artificial intelligence and to drive them forward.
You work independently, conscientiously and in a team-oriented manner. You also have a high level of commitment as well as flexibility in terms of content and time.
It goes without saying that you are willing to travel and make regional company visits. A class B car driver's license is required.

The salary for the advertised position is based on your qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L). In the case of equal suitability, qualifications and professional performance, severely disabled persons are taken into account in accordance with SGB IX.
